Kenny Van Duzer

Kenny VanDuzer is an accomplished percussionist and music educator based in Western Pennsylvania. With nearly a decade of experience teaching and performing, Kenny has built a reputation for his dynamic playing, versatile style, and commitment to musical excellence.Since 2016, Kenny has served as the Percussion Instructor at Geneva College, his alma mater, where he studied percussion performance and performed in a wide variety of collegiate ensembles. His deep-rooted passion for education is evident in his work with students both at the college level and in the wider community.Kenny is a familiar face in the regional music scene, having performed extensively in musicals at both Mohawk High School and Beaver Falls High School. He brings theatrical scores to life with precision, flair, and a deep understanding of musical storytelling.He also played with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ official drumline, The Steeline, showcasing his high-energy performance skills in front of tens of thousands of fans. Outside of marching and theater work, Kenny is an active member of the high-energy cover band Vicious Chicken, where he plays drums and sings, adding his own flavor to an eclectic mix of hits.Whether behind the kit, in the pit, or in the classroom, Kenny VanDuzer continues to share his passion for percussion with audiences and students alike.
